Throughout my professional experience I conclude that when there is a cooperation between teachers, parents and a professional counsellor:


The improvement and behaviour of the child in relation to their specific needs greatly improves with a much more inclusive understanding of their desired goals and aspirations, for example, EHCP reports, Leslie’s copying strategy reports and other collaborative work towards the wellbeing of the child. 


Leslie gives counselling to parents, children and facilitates regular review sessions to look at the progress of the child from the counselling sessions with an opportunity for parents and teachers to help identify additional therapeutic needs of the child to augment and facilitate a greater depth of understanding.
